CLINTON – Clinton County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Eric Van Lancker is encouraging absentee voters to return their November 6, 2018, General Election ballots this week.
Van Lancker reminded absentee voters that ballots being returned to the Clinton County Auditor’s Office by mail need to be postmarked no later than November 5 in order to be counted for the November 6 General Election.
Van Lancker said at the start of this week there were approximately 2,000 absentee ballots not yet returned.
“Voters may also personally deliver their voted and sealed absentee ballots to the Clinton County Auditor’s Office before 9 p.m. on Election Day, November 6,” Van Lancker said.
Absentee ballots can no longer be mailed from the County Auditor’s office. However, inperson absentee voting continues through November 5 at the Clinton County Auditor’s Office during regular business hours. The County Auditor’s Office is also open for voting on Saturday, November 3, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
