The Clinton County Auditor’s Office is looking for interested individuals to work at polling places on Election Day! Are you friendy, dependable, civic minded and detail oriented? Apply to be a precinct election worker! No experience is necessary and training is provided.
Election board members must be registered voters of Clinton County, their attendance must be dependable and they must get along well with others. Precinct election officials may not change political parties within 30 days of an election.
The Election Day for a Primary or General begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends around 10:00 p.m. and for a City or School Election, the day begins at 6:00 a.m and ends around 9:00 p.m. The work is rewarding, time spent standing is minimal, and workers must remain at the polls all day. Pay is $10.50 an hour, plus qualifying mileage.
You will be contacted prior to each election that you are needed to serve.
